Inherited and ran the Robotic Process Automation group within Indeed, a team of 2 Engineers, 1 Product Manager, and 2 Business Analysts.

Senior Software Engineer | September 2018 - November 2020

Project managed and executed the technical integration of Indeed’s acquisition of ClickIQ, orchestrating across teams and core products.

Created the architectural design of a queue system in Kafka and Java Spring to deliver up-to-date information on jobs from several different sources.

This integration changed the internal bidding algorithm for Indeed sponsored jobs, allowing Indeed to provide better value to customers for equal cost.

Ideated and led a team of 4 Software Engineers and 1 Product Manager to deliver an MLP for a new product segment, a University Insights Tool.

Ultimately, this project couldn’t find product market fit, so we pivoted and contributed some features into Indeed Careers, allowing users to view data such as ROI statistics on particular degrees or career paths.

Worked as a grader, teaching assistant, and lab instructor for various courses across the Computer Science and Mathematics departments.
